Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]-N188 is an investigational positron emission tomography (PET) radiotracer designed for noninvasive imaging of Nectin-4 expression in solid tumors. Developed by researchers at Peking University First Hospital, the agent consists of a high-affinity bicyclic peptide ligand (N188) derived from the BT8009 scaffold, conjugated to the positron-emitting radionuclide gallium-68 (68Ga). N188 binds specifically to Nectin-4 (nectin cell adhesion molecule 4), a transmembrane protein overexpressed in urothelial carcinoma and various other epithelial malignancies, including pancreatic, breast, lung, and ovarian cancers. By quantifying membranous Nectin-4 expression, [68Ga]-N188 PET/CT imaging serves as a potential companion diagnostic tool to select and stratify patients for Nectin-4-targeted therapies, such as the antibody-drug conjugate enfortumab vedotin.
